Diets: Can They Address Every “Body”?
If you think every body is the same then you may say yes to the question: Diets: Can they address every body? I am deliberately playing on the word body. You see, after more than 20 years in the field of nutrition, health, education and coaching I have seen enough evidence in my very own clients that help me answer the question. My answer is a resounding no! Not every body is the same. I learned that early in my practice and this is even if you have the same health condition as another person, or weigh the same as another person- we just are not the same. We are too complex mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We also never experience our days ( the physical) the same way!
So how do you get a plan that works for every body? Is it to personalize the diet plan to suit each person’s health needs? I used to think that was the answer in my early days. Thank goodness I quickly learned the magic pill to achieve permanent ( yes, I said permanent!) weight loss is to have a life- plan, not a diet plan-yikes!!!
I dare my clients to live life fully. I dare them to lose the weight and keep it off. I dare them to do what they say they will do and keep doing them. On and on, I come from a place of IDARE- Intention-Desire- Action- Results- Evaluate. I coach my clients on how to use this simple 5-step process to create outstanding and permanent wins every day!
So, IDARE you to do that one thing you said you would do today to get you to the health goal you wish to reach. Ask me how you can IDARE yourself.

Because everybody is not the same we know that nutritional needs, food preferences and eating habits as well as overall health outcomes will be different. We also know from our more than 20 years’ experience working with families that if the family is healthy and has a solid foundation on which to operate, they will make better eating choices, they will experience better health outcomes and they will experience life in general in a more positive and healthy way.
